• Discord User Information: When you use the bot, we may collect basic Discord user data such as your Discord username, user ID, and server ID. This information is used solely for the purposes of bot functionality, such as linking players to POIs, quests, and roles.
• Server Data: We collect server specific information, such as server IDs, roles, and settings. This is used to configure the bot and provide the best experience for your server.
• Interaction Data: The bot may collect data related to your interactions with NPCs, quests, and POIs (messages, choices made, and completed quests). This data is stored temporarily for the purpose of providing quest progression and rewards.

Note: The bot does not collect sensitive personal data (passwords, direct messages, personal identifiers outside of Discord).

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and manage the bot’s functionality, including assigning roles, quests, POIs, and rewards.
• Improve and personalise your experience with the bot.
• Monitor bot usage to ensure smooth and error free operation.
• Respond to support requests and inquiries in our support channels.

Data Storage and Retention

The data collected by the bot is stored on secure servers for as long as needed to perform the bot's functions, such as tracking quest progress, POI discoveries, and role assignments.

We retain data related to player interactions with the bot for the duration of the session or until a user chooses to unlink or reset their data.

We will not store or share your personal information beyond what is necessary for the bot’s operations.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal data to third parties without your explicit consent, except in the following circumstances:

• As required by law or to comply with legal obligations.
• To provide essential services related to the bot (hosting providers, data storage).

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request Access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Delete Data: You can request the deletion of your data or unlink your Discord account from the bot.
• Opt-Out: You can stop using the bot at any time by removing it from your server or unlinking your account.
