By using the Discovery Bot, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the bot.

Acceptance of Terms

By adding the Discovery Bot to your server and using its features, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws, including the Discord Terms of Service and Discord Community Guidelines.

User Responsibilities

As a user or server owner, you agree to:

• Comply with Discord’s Terms: You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the bot complies with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• Respect Privacy: You will not use the bot to collect or store personal data outside of what is necessary for its intended use.
• No Misuse: You will not misuse the bot by attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit it in any unauthorized way.

Bot Usage

Features: The bot provides automatic functionality for tracking POIs, NPC quests, and Bulletin Boards. Features are subject to change, and we reserve the right to update, modify, or remove features at our discretion.

Server Compatibility: The bot is intended to be used on Xbox DayZ servers only. Any use outside of this intended scope is not supported.

Bot Availability and Support

We strive to maintain the bot’s availability at all times, but we do not guarantee uptime. We may perform maintenance or updates, and during those times, the bot may be temporarily unavailable.

Support: If you experience issues with the bot, you can request help through the Discovery Support Discord. Our team is available to assist you with setup, troubleshooting, and general inquiries.

Data Collection and Privacy

The bot collects data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By using the bot, you consent to the data practices described therein.

Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the bot at any time if you violate these Terms of Service, including if your server engages in inappropriate, abusive, or illegal behavior.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the bot, including any loss of data or disruption to server operations.

Changes to Terms of Service

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted in the Discovery Support Discord, and the updated version will be effective immediately upon posting.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate legal forums.
